| 2 cups | Warm water |
| 2 packs | Dry yeast |
| 2 tablespoons | Sugar |
| 2 teaspoons | Salt |
| 2 tablespoons | Soft butter |
| ½ cup | + 1 Tbls. parmesan |
| 1½ tablespoon | Oregano |
| 4¼ cup | Flour |
Sprinkle yeast over water in large bowl of mixer, stir until dissolved. Add sugar, salt, butter, ½ cup cheese, oregano and 3 cups flour. Beat at low speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl and beaters with rubber spatula. Let rise in warm place for 45 minutes. Heat oven to 375. Lightly grease 1½- 2 quart casserole. With wooden spoon stir down batter. Beat vigerously for 30 seconds, 25 strokes. Turn into prepared casserole. Sprinkle evenly with 1 Tbls. cheese. Bake 55 minutes. Turn out on wire rack.
Let cool completely, or serve warm, cut into wedges.
