Hawaiian beef

\N \N I remember my Mom and I making this dish for an open house we had one
\N \N Year.... I must have rolled 200 little meat balls... 8-} They were so
\N \N Good, that there wasn't more than a small container left after the party
\N \N Was over...
1 each Ground beef
1 each Onion, chopped
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Ketchup
¼ cup Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Vinegar
2 teaspoons Dry mustard
14 cans Kidney beans, rinsed and drained
14 ounces Can baked beans, drained
20 ounces Can pineapple chunks, drained

Combine ground beef with chopped onion and salt. Form into balls the size of latrge walnuts. Brown on all sides in hot skillet. Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard. Bring to a boil. In greased 2 quart casserole, combine beans and pineapple chunks.

Arrange meat balls on top. Pour sauce over all. Bake in 350F oven for 30-40 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings. Origin: My Mom, Shirley Whittaker. Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Jan/95.
