Preheat oven to 350~. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat; saute onions til tender. Stir in flour; slowly add milk, stirring constantly til thickened. Combine with remaining ingredients except crumbs in casserole. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350~ for 30 to 35 minutes or til brown. Makes 4-6 servings.
