half-half vanilla ice cream

| 3 quarts | Half and half |
| 3 cups | Sugar |
| 4 tablespoons | Vanilla |
| 2 teaspoons | Salt |
Heat one quart of half and half almost to the boiling poin and dissolve sugar and salt in it. Add remaining half and half and vanilla, chill and then freeze.
