Grilled bread with duck fat, sea salt and apples

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Loaf crusty French bread
4 ounces Duck fat; available at fancy butcher shops
2 tablespoons Sea salt; up to 3
1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary; chopped
2 \N Macoun apples

Preheat grill or broiler.

Cut bread into 1inch thick slices and grill until dark golden brown. Smear each slice with 1 to 2 teaspoons duck fat. Sprinkle each slice with sea salt, then rosemary. Serve warm with apples for slicing.
