| Measure | Ingredient |

| 4 cups | Green beans, cooked |
| 3 slices | Bacon -- diced |
| 1 medium | Onion -- sliced |
| 3 tablespoons | Sugar |
| 2 teaspoons | Cornstarch |
| 3 tablespoons | Tarragon vinegar |
| ½ cup | Sherry |
Saute bacon and onion. Add sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and wine. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Pour over hot beans; serve.
