grandma carol's chocolate chip cookies

| Measure | Ingredient |

| 1 cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Brown sugar |
| 2 | Eggs |
| 1⅓ cup | Shortening (she swears by crisco) |
| 1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 3 cups | Flour |
| 1 teaspoon | Soda |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 pack | Choc. chips |
Mix together sugars, eggs and shortening. Then add vanilla, flour, soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 325. Bake 8-10 minutes, being sure not to overbake.
