good ol' fish 'n' chips

MeasureIngredient
1 medium Sized pomfret
  Cut into four pieces
2 teaspoons Lime juice; salt, (10 ml)
  Pepper and mustard to taste
  Breadcrumbs as required
  Oil for frying
2 tablespoons Flour; (30 g)
Egg
  Salt and pepper to taste
  Water as required

THE BATTER

BONE and wash the fish. Mix lime juice, salt, pepper and mustard powder.

Marinate the fish in this mixture for 10 minutes. Beat the egg till light.

Add flour, salt and pepper and mix well. Add a little water and mix to a thick batter. Dip the fillets in this batter and roll in breadcrumbs. Deep fry in hot oil till done. Serve with french fries and tartar sauce.

Serve with garlic bread or toasted bread slices.
