| Measure | Ingredient |

| 2 pounds | Turnips, peeled and cubed |
| ¼ cup | Beef stock |
| ½ teaspoon | Sugar |
| ½ teaspoon | Ground ginger |
| 2 teaspoons | Soy sauce |
