ginger coffee

½ cup Ground coffee; heaping
2 teaspoons Ground cardamom
3 tablespoons Fresh ginger; minced
1 quart Plus 3 cups cold water
1 cup Milk
2 tablespoons Sugar
¼ cup Heavy cream; cold
1 ounce Fine dark chocolate; grated

Prep: 10 min, Cook: 10 min.

Combine coffee, 1-½ tsp. cardamom and ginger. Brew with cold water using desired method. Combine milk and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat.

Stir constantly until hot. Whip cream with remaining cardamom to soft peaks. Serve coffee with hot milk. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate. Posted to recipelu-digest by molony <molony@...> on Feb 08, 1998
