german potatoe salad

Strips of bacon
¾ cup Chopped onion
2 tablespoons Flour
⅔ cup Vinegar
1⅓ cup Water
¼ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
6 cups Sliced; cooked potatoes

fry bacon till crisp. Drain all but 2-3 TB drippings. Cook onion till tender. Stir in flour. Blend. Add vinegar and water. Cook and stir till bubbly and thick. Add sugars till it dissolves.
