german beer bread

MeasureIngredient
3 cups Self-rising flour
2 tablespoons Sugar, rounded
12 ounces Beer, room temperature
1½ teaspoon Dillweed, cheese OR Bacon bits (opt)
1 pinch Salt
½ cup Butter, melted

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first five ingredients together well.

Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Pour butter over top and bake 10 minutes more or until brown. Best when eaten warm.
