½ pounds | Ground pork |
½ cup | Onion, fine chopped |
1 cup | Applesauce |
1 large | Egg |
1 cup | Bread crumbs (see note) |
3 tablespoons | Ketchup |
2 teaspoons | Salt |
¼ teaspoon | Pepper, black |
Preheat oven to 350 deg f. Lightly ooiol a 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Place meatloaf mixture in pan.
Bake 1½ - 2 hours. Let cool 10 - 15 minutes. Turn out of pan. Slice and serve.
NOTE: if necessary, add more bread crumbs, a tablespoon at a time, to make loaf firm.
