Unbaked pie shell
Strips pastry for top of pie
Tart apples
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ cup Milk
1 tablespoon Butter

Peel, core and slice apples lengthwise. Place slices in the pie shell arranging slices in a circle from the outside to the center, overlapping the apples. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the apples. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over pie. Place strips of pastry over dough in lattice work design. Dot with butter. Bake in a 325 degree preheated oven for approximately 1 hour.
