Garbanzo bean burgers

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Garbanzo beans (chickpeas), mashed
1 each Carrot, finely chopped
¼ \N Small onion, minced
¼ cup Flour, whole wheat
2 teaspoons Oil
\N \N Salt
\N \N Pepper

Mix the ingredients (except oil) in a bowl. Form 6 flat patties.

Fry in oiled pan over medium-high heat until burgers are golden brown on each side.

Per serving: 133 calories; 3g fat (17% of calories from fat); 5g protein; 23g carbohydrates; 34mg calcium; 1mg iron; 250mg sodium; 2g dietary fiber.
