Fudgy pudding cake

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Martha Gooch pancake and waffle mix
½ cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Cocoa
¾ cup Chopped nuts
½ cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
¾ cup Firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup Cocoa

Combine mix, sugar, ½ cup cocoa, nuts, milk and vanilla in an 8" pan.

Combine brown sugar and ¼ cup cocoa and sprinkle over the mixture in the pan. Carefully pour 1½ c. boiling water over all. DO NOT STIR! Bake at 350x F for 35-40 minutes or until edges pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool in the pan 15 minutes before serving.

Variation: Omit nuts and add 1 c. miniature marshmallows.
