3 tablespoons Light corn syrup
1 tablespoon Cognac, grand marnier
  Or other liqueur
1 teaspoon Instant coffee or
  Expresso powder
  Dash salt
6 ounces Semisweet chocolate

1. In a 1-qt glass bowl, combine butter, corn syrup, brandy, coffee powder, salt, and 2 Tbs of water. Heat in a microwave on High 1½ to 2 mins, until boiling and butter is melted when stirred.

2. Add chocolate chips; let stand 1 min. Whisk until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Refrigerate until glaze is cool and of spreading consistency, but not too hard.
