Measure | Ingredient |

1 pounds | Prunes |
½ pounds | Dried apricots |
½ pounds | Dried pears or apples |
2 cups | Water |
2 tablespoons | Honey |
3 tablespoons | Brown sugar |
¼ teaspoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
½ pounds | Sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced |
In a large mixing bowl, presoak all the fruit overnight. Drain the water.
Pit the prunes. In a medium sized saucepan combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook over very low heat for 25 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed. Stir occasionally. Serves 8 or more.
