| ⅔ cup | Butter |
| 2 | Eggs |
| 1 pounds | Pecans |
| 1 pounds | Dates |
| ½ pounds | Raisins |
| 1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 1½ cup | Flour |
| 1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 1 teaspoon | Cloves |
| 1 teaspoon | Soda mixed in: hot water |
| ½ cup | Wine |
| 1 pinch | Salt |
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Flour dates, raisins and pecans. Add remaining flour and dry ingredients along with soda, water and wine. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
