Frozen pickles

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 quarts Cucumbers; sliced unpeeled
1 medium Onion; sliced thin
2 teaspoons Salt
1½ cup Sugar
½ cup Vinegar

Mix first 3 ingredients and refrigerate for 2 hours. Drain thoroughly, but do not rinse.

Mix together until completely dissolved the following: 1½ cup sugar and ½ cup vinegar. Pour over pickles. Juice should cover them. Will keep in refrigerator for a couple of weeks or put in containers and freeze.
