Frosted banana bars

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Butter or margarine --

2 cups Sugar
3 eaches Eggs
1½ cup Ripe bananas -- mashed 3
\N \N Medium
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 cups All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 dash Salt
\N \N FROSTING:
½ cup Butter or margarine --
\N \N Softened
1 pack Cream cheese -- 8 ounces
\N \N Softened
4 cups Confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 15-in, x 10-in. x1-in.

baking pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 25 minutes or until bars test done.

Cool. For frosting, cream butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl.

Gradually add confectioners' sugar and vanilla; beat well. Spread over bars. Yield: 3 dozen
