frog eye salad (different)

MeasureIngredient
½ cup Sugar
Egg Yolks; beaten
1½ tablespoon Flour
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Juice
1 cup Acini De Pepe Macaroni; uncooked
1 can Mandarin Oranges
1 can Crushed Pineapple; reserve juice
1 small Carton Cool Whip®
1 small Pkg. Miniature Marshmallows

Cook sugar, egg yolks, flour, salt and juice until thick. Cool.

Cook acini de pepe until tender and drain. Mix with the above and let stand overnight.

The next morning add mandarin oranges, pinapple (drained) and marshmallows.

Just before serving, add cool whip.

Note: This salad keeps well and can be used as a dessert.
