Frijoles con cerveza

Measure Ingredient
1.00 pounds Beans, black; dried
6.00 cup Water
12.00 ounce Beer
1.00 teaspoon Garlic powder
1.00 teaspoon Salt
1.00 \N Cilantro, fresh; chopped
1.00 \N Sour cream

Sort beans, and rinse thoroughly. Combine beans and water in a Dutch oven; let sit overnight. Bring bean mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 2 hours. Add beer, garlic powder, and salt ot bean mixture; stir well. Cook beans an additional 30 minutes.

Sprinkle cilantro over beans; serve with sour cream.
