|25 grams||Butter; (1oz)|
|1 tablespoon||Olive oil|
|450 grams||Red onions - peeled and sliced; (1lb)|
|1½ tablespoon||Schwartz Mustard Seed|
|1 teaspoon||Schwartz Thyme|
|Schwartz Coarse Ground Black Pepper|
|1 teaspoon||Lemon juice|
Heat the oil and butter in a large frying pan and fry the onions and 1 tbs Mustard Seed for 1-2 minutes. Add the sugar, vinegar and Thyme. Fry gently, stirring occasionally, for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the salt, Pepper and lemon juice. Crush the remaining Mustard Seeds and stir in just before serving.
