| 8 mediums | Tomatoes, peel & quarter |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt |
| ⅛ teaspoon | Pepper |
| 1 teaspoon | Sugar |
| ½ teaspoon | Dry mustard |
| 2 tablespoons | Margarine |
| 2 larges | Onions, sliced |
| 2½ cup | Fresh bread crumbs |
| 6 tablespoons | Margarine, melted |
| ¼ cup | Grated Parmesan cheese |
Mix tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar and dry mustard until well blended.
Saute onions in margarine for 5 minutes. Mix bread crumbs and margarine until blended. In a buttered 1½ quart casserole, layer the tomato mixture, the onions, then crumbs.
