| Measure | Ingredient |

| 2 cups | White flour |
| ¼ teaspoon | Salt |
| ¾ cup | Water |
| 1½ teaspoon | Baking powder |
| 4 tablespoons | Lard or shortening |
Mix all ingredients into a dry dough. Knead on lightly floured board about 5 minutes. Wrap dough for about ½ hour. Form the dough into two balls.
Roll balls into flat disks. Cook on a lightly greased griddle, browning each side. These are excellent bread for any Mexican meal or as wrappers for burritos.
