Fishermen's best spread

Yield: 18 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 \N Envelopes Knox® unflavored gelatine
½ cup Cold water
1 cup Boiling water
2 cups Sour cream
1 cup Wishbone® thousand island dressing
2 cans (7 oz) tuna or salmon; drained and flaked
¼ cup Finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon Dill weed

In a large bowl, sprinke gelatine over cold water; let stand 1 minute. Add boiling water and stir until gelatine is completely dissolved. With a wire whip or rotary beater, blend in sour cream and thousand island dressing.

Fold in remaining ingredients. Turn into a 6-cup mold or bowl; chill until firm. Makes about 5½ cups spread.

Note: Recipe can be halved. Turn into a 3-cup mold or bowl. You may also substitute canned shrimp or crabmeat.
