| ½ pounds | Flank steak*; cut into thin strips |
| 1 medium | Onion; sliced |
| 1 medium | Green pepper; sliced |
| 1 medium | Red pepper; sliced |
| 1½ teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| 1 tablespoon | Oil |
| ½ cup | Water |
| ¼ cup | Lime juice |
| 1 teaspoon | Hot pepper sauce; up to 2 |
| ¼ teaspoon | Black pepper |
| 1½ cup | Cooked rice |
1. Cook and stir meat, onion, green and red peppers and garlic powder in hot oil in a large skillet until browned. Add water, lime juice, hot pepper sauce and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes.
2. Prepare rice as directed on package.
3. Serve meat mixture over rice. Makes 4 servings.
*You can cut the flank steak into very thin slices if it is partly frozen.
