|½ pounds||Flank steak*; cut into thin strips|
|1 medium||Onion; sliced|
|1 medium||Green pepper; sliced|
|1 medium||Red pepper; sliced|
|1½ teaspoon||Garlic powder|
|¼ cup||Lime juice|
|1 teaspoon||Hot pepper sauce; up to 2|
|¼ teaspoon||Black pepper|
|1½ cup||Cooked rice|
1. Cook and stir meat, onion, green and red peppers and garlic powder in hot oil in a large skillet until browned. Add water, lime juice, hot pepper sauce and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes.
2. Prepare rice as directed on package.
3. Serve meat mixture over rice. Makes 4 servings.
*You can cut the flank steak into very thin slices if it is partly frozen.
