English taffy squares

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Rolled vanilla wafers
1 cup Chopped pecans
1 cup Powdered sugar
½ pounds Butter
1½ \N Sqaures of chocolate, melted
3 \N Eggs, separated
1½ teaspoon Vanilla

Mix crumbs with nuts. Cover bottom of 9 x 9 inch pan with crumbs.

Cream butter and sugar and add egg yolks to chocolate, fold in beaten egg whites and pour on crust. Add remainder of crumbs. Randy Rigg Submitted By RANDY RIGG On 06-11-95
