easy french bread - abm - regular loaf

1 Loaf
¾ cup + 1T water
2 cups White bread flour
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Yeast, fast rise or machine or -
1½ teaspoon Yeast, active dried

To develop the crisp crust that French bread is famous for, turn the machine off and reset it after the first knead cycle is completed.

This gives the bead extra kneadint time and results in a crisp crust.

Use regular or rapid bake cycles
