Eastern north carolina style barbecue sauce

Measure Ingredient
1 pint Cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Salt
2 teaspoons Red pepper -- ground
1 tablespoon Red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons Brown sugar -- packed

Combine all ingredients, mix well and let stand several hours before using.

Mix with meat chopped from the cooked pig and serve extra on the side.
