Dilly bread #1

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pack Dry yeast
¼ cup Lukewarm water
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Soda
1 tablespoon Instant onion flakes
1 cup Cottage cheese; at room temp.
2 tablespoons Sugar
1 tablespoon Shortening
1 \N Unbeaten egg
2 teaspoons Dill seed (up to)
2½ cup Flour

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, salt, shortening & egg. Beat 1 minute.

Add dill seed, onion flakes & cheese. Mix well. Add flour & soda mixed together. Mix all ingredients & knead well. Let rise until double in bulk.

Punch down & knead several times. Put into a greased 2-quart casserole. Let rist until double again. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
