½ cup Hot water
\N \N 4-5 cups oatmeal, in a large bowl, and allow to soak, while adding
\N \N (right on top)
1 cup Raw sunflower seeds

\N \N Fun.
½ cup Oil
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 cup Flax seeds
1 cup Freshly grated coconut (if you have it)
¾ cup Chopped walnuts
¾ cup Chopped dates, raisins, or currants

MIX TOGETHER

POUR IT OVER

Mix it alltogether and spread on parchment to dry. To speed drying, spread thinly. Store in plastic bags or jars in refrigerator.

VARIATIONS: Change ingredients and/or amounts as you please. Try adding or substituting chia seeds, fresh wheat germ, almonds, cashews or other nuts, a little brewer's yeast, chopped dried fruit, whatever. Origin: Dry It - You'll Like It! circa 1973. Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Jan/95.
