½ cup | Hot water |
\N \N | 4-5 cups oatmeal, in a large bowl, and allow to soak, while adding |

1 cup | Raw sunflower seeds |
1 cup | Sesame seeds recipe, so use what you have on hand, and have |

½ cup | Oil |
2 teaspoons | Vanilla |
1 cup | Flax seeds |
1 cup | Freshly grated coconut (if you have it) |
¾ cup | Chopped walnuts |
¾ cup | Chopped dates, raisins, or currants |
MIX TOGETHER
POUR IT OVER
Mix it alltogether and spread on parchment to dry. To speed drying, spread thinly. Store in plastic bags or jars in refrigerator.
VARIATIONS: Change ingredients and/or amounts as you please. Try adding or substituting chia seeds, fresh wheat germ, almonds, cashews or other nuts, a little brewer's yeast, chopped dried fruit, whatever. Origin: Dry It - You'll Like It! circa 1973. Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Jan/95.
