Deep fried onion rings and cabbage and bacon

Measure Ingredient
\N \N Oil for frying; 1 onion
200 grams Self raising flour
300 millilitres Water
4 \N Cabbage leaves; shredded
2 slices Streaky Bacon; roughly chopped

1 Heat the oil in a large deep pan. Cut the onion into ½" rings. Whisk the flour and water to make a batter. Coat the onion rings in the batter and deep fry until golden brown. Deep fry the shredded cabbage and bacon.
