| 2⅔ cup | Brown sugar |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 cup | Butter or margarine |
| 2 | Eggs |
| 1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 3½ cup | Flour |
| 1 teaspoon | Baking powder |
| ½ teaspoon | Baking soda |
| ½ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 1½ cup | Powdered sugar |
| 1 | Egg white; slightly beaten |
| 1 tablespoon | Butter; melted |
| ⅛ teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ teaspoon | Vanilla |
| Food coloring & sprinkles |
GLAZE
Cream sugar, salt & butter. Add eggs & vanilla & continue mixing until fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, soda & cinnamon. Mix well & chill. Roll dough out on lightly floured surface to ⅛-inch thick. Cut into shapes with cookie cutter & bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Cool & ice. Top with decorative sprinkles, if desired. (Great for Christmas, Valentine or Halloween!) Glaze: Blend sugar with egg white & add butter, salt & vanilla.
Beat until smooth. Add a few drops of food coloring of your choice.
