Measure | Ingredient |

2 cups | Walnuts; chopped |
1 pack | Dates; chopped |
½ cup | Sugar |
1 \N | Lemon rind; grated |
1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
3 \N | Egg whites |
Combine nuts, dates, rind and vanilla. Mix in sugar. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into nut mixture. Sprinkle a little sugar on a cookie sheet and drop cookies by teaspoonful onto the sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.
