1 cup Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
  Salt
1 cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Lemon
3 tablespoons Water; hot
1 cup Dates
1 cup Pecans
2 eaches Eggs; well beaten

Cream sugar and butter. Add extracts, hot water, dates and nuts. Add well beaten eggs, dry ingredients, sifted together. Spread in pan 8 x 10 x 12. Bake 30 minutes at 325 F.
