Curried sauce for turkey or chicken

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
¼ cup Butter Or Margarine
1 each Clove Garlic -- Chopped
1 each Onion; Chopped -- To Taste
1 each Apple; Peeled --
\N \N Cored&Chopped
1 teaspoon Curry Powder
1 cup Chicken Broth
¼ cup Flour -- Unbleached
1 cup Light Cream -- 1/2 Pt.
\N \N Salt & Pepper -- To Taste

In a saucepan, melt the butter and saute the garlic, onion and apple for about 5 minutes. Stir in the curry powder and saute for 1 minute more. Stir in the flour and gradually add the chicken broth and cream. Season to taste with the salt and pepper. Serve with cooked sliced turkey or chicken.

Makes 2 cups of sauce.
