Crunchy broccoli salad

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 bunches Broccoli
½ cup Celery; chopped
½ cup Raisins
½ pounds Bacon; crisp and crumbled
½ cup Nuts; walnuts, peanuts,
1¼ cup Mayonaise
⅔ cup Sugar
¼ cup Vinegar; plus almonds or sunflower seeds, whole or chopped
½ cup Onion; chopped
8 ounces Water chestnuts; sliced and drained
2 tablespoons Vinegar
2 tablespoons Lemon juice

DRESSING

Combine dressing ingredients, set aside. Rinse broccoli well in cold water and peel stalks. Chop into bite sized pieces. Add remaining ingredients and mix with dressing. Refrigerate and serve cold.
