1 cup | Reserved bacon blue cheese dressing |

½ pounds | Ham -- thinly sliced |
Preheat the oven to 400. Cook the onion in the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until softened, about 2 minutes. Add the flour and stir for 2 minutes. Add the milk and stir until smooth.
Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, remove from the heat, and stir in the reserved dressing, the egg, salt and pepper. Place a few spoonfuls of the sauce in the bottom of a 2 quart casserole. Slice the potatoes and spread a layer of potato slices and a layer of ham on top of the sauce. Top with more sauce and continue layering potatoes, ham and sauce until all have been used, finishing with a layer of sauce. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until bubbly, and serve at once.
