Yield: 6 Servings
Measure | Ingredient |

3 cups | Sliced okra |
½ cup | Chopped onion |
½ cup | Chopped green pepper |
¼ cup | Butter or margarine |
3 cups | Chopped tomatoes |
4 teaspoons | Sugar |
1¼ teaspoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Pepper |
Saut okra, onion and green pepper in butter for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
