| Measure | Ingredient |

| 2 eaches | Eggs; beaten separately |
| 2 cups | Flour |
| 1 teaspoon | Baking soda |
| ½ teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 tablespoon | Cornmeal; optional |
Mix beaten egg yolks with sour cream. Sift dry ingredients and combine with first mixture. Add stiffly beaten whites of eggs. Bake at once on hot waffle iron.
