MeasureIngredient
½ cup Sugar
¼ cup Cornstarch
¼ teaspoon Salt
2 cups Milk
Eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla
3 drops Yello food color (optional)

In medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt, stir in milk. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly, til mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. In small bowl w/ fork, beat eggs slightly, beat small amount of hot mixture into egg mixture, stirring rapidly to prevent lumping. Then pour egg mixture into hot milk mixture stirring rapidly. Cook stirring constantly, til thickened (do not boil). Stir in vanilla and food coloring.
