Cranberry bark

Yield: 1 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Shelled pistachios or chopped almonds
1 pounds White chocolate
1 cup Dried cranberries

Roast pistachios in 350F oven for 8-10 minutes or just until fragrant but not colored. Melt chocolate and then let cool to room temp.

Steam dried cranberries for about 3 minutes or until just moist. Let drain and blot with paper towel to remove excess moisture. Arrange the nuts and cranberries on a foil lined cookie sheet and drizzle melted chocolate over top, making sure to cover all berries and nuts.

Additional nuts and cranberries can be then pressed into the tops for added color and eye appeal. Allow to harden at room temp or in the fridge, break into pieces and store in ziploc bag. Makes about 1-½ lbs. Origin: Canadian Living, December 1994. Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Dec/94.
