4 cups All-purpose flour*
4 cups Yellow commeal
1¾ cup Nonfat dry milk
⅓ cup Baking powder
2 teaspoons Salt
1¾ cup Shortening

Mix flour, cornmeal, dry milk, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening completely. Refrigerate in airtight container up to 1 month. 12 cups mix. *lf using self-rising flour, reduce baking powder to 2 tablespoons plus 1½ teaspoons and omit salt.
