Comanche fried frog legs

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds frog legs
½ cup cooking oil
1 \N egg, well beaten
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup cornmeal
¼ teaspoon pepper

Mix the cornmeal, egg, salt and peper together with enough water to form a batter. Place the oil in an iron skillet and dip the frog legs into the batter and cook for about 30 minutes until they are brown on all sides.
