| 1½ cup | Sugar |
| ¼ cup | Plus 2 tb butter or |

| 4 | Egg yolks |
| 1½ cup | Flaked coconut |
| 1½ cup | Chopped pecans |
| 1½ teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
Combine first four ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil and cool over medium heat 12 minutes stirring constantly. Add Coconuts, pecans and vanilla; stir until cool and thick enough to spread.
