|5 ounces||Milk chocolate|
|4 ounces||Semisweet chocolate chips|
|3 pints||Fresh strawberries, large with stems|
Recipe by: Produce Pete's "Farmacopeia" - ISBN 0-688-12847-5 Place both
kinds of chocolate in a small saucepan and stir over very low heat until melted. Dip in the strawberries one at a time until coated with chocolate, being careful not to cover the stem. Place the strawberries on a greased baking sheet or try and immediately place in the refrigerator.
Chill until the chocolate hardens. These can be prepared a day in advance.
NOTE: I have had these with this addition. Each berry was "injected" with Courvoisier or Grand Marnier liqueur. Using a clean hypodermic this can be done before or after dipping.
