Chocolate sauce - bon appetit

Yield: 1 1/3 cups

Measure Ingredient
8 ounces Semisweet chocolate, chopped
5½ tablespoon Unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons Instant coffee powder dissolved in 1/2 C hot water

Combine all ingredients in heavy small saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes. (Can be made 5 days ahead. Chill. Rewarm over low heat, stirring constantly.) Bon Appetit/October/94 Scanned & edited by Di Pahl & <gg>
