Chocolate rum balls

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Chocolate cake crumbs, stale
1 tablespoon Butter; melted
1 tablespoon Light rum
1½ teaspoon Rum extract
1½ tablespoon Light corn syrup (to 2 tbs)
⅓ cup Chocolate shots (to 1/2 cup)

Add 1½ Tbs corn syrup and blend until mixture holds together. Add remaining ½ Tbs corn syrup if needed to bind. 2. Form into 8 or 9 (1 ¾-inch) balls by rolling mixture between palms of hands. Then roll balls in chocolate shots to coat completely. Store in a tightly covered container in refrigerator. Serve in paper candy cups.

Note: Recipe may be doubled.
